Divine healing is a sovereign act of God and the Bible teaches us that not only has God deposited his healing and resurrection power inside us, but that He also has given us the authority to release it. If we don’t exercise our authority, God’s power will not be released.

In rabbinic literature (including gospel parables sub-genre), God's attributes frequently have conversations with each other. Such is the case in the parable Jesus gave in Luke 13:6-9. God's ANGER and JUDGEMENT are in dialogue with His GRACE and MERCY. Anger and Judgement say: "Cut it down!" Mercy and Grace say: "Give it ONE MORE year."...... ONE MORE YEAR; ONE MORE DAY; ONE MORE TIME; ONE MORE CHANCE, OH LORD WE PRAY.

God delights in answering our prayers. He is a loving father. Jesus admonishes us to ask anything in His name even as He lives to make intercessions for us. The Holy Spirit also intecedes for us and helps us to pray in accordance with God's will. The truth, however, is that scriptures also teach us that there are times when our prayers are hindered; times when God won't answer our prayers. God is so faithful that he will not deny himself by going against His Word... Please join us this coming Sunday as we catechise this subject.

Ministry is a minefield. The fact is that there are a lot of land mines buried just beneath the surface waiting patiently for you to make one wrong step. Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge. but the simple keep going and suffer for it."
